OPERATING DURING
AN OUTAGE

For an outage lasting longer than 24 hours, your generator is required to be shut down and the engine oil level checked and corrected at least once. For outages spanning multiple days, this process should be repeated every 24 hours. You can consult our FAQs page or the owner’s manual for information and directions specific to your generator system.
